The Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX CBSA has continued to lead the way in the [self storage industry](https://www.radiusplus.com/keyword/self storage industry) with it having the highest year over year [percentage increase in rates](https://www.radiusplus.com/keyword/increase in rates) from 2021 to 2022 so far.
The average price per square foot from January 1st 2022, to June 12th 2022 was $1.48, which was a 14% increase from the same time last year which was $1.30.
It is great to see rates continuing to increase in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX CBSA, alongside all the development projects going on, as well as it already having the most supply out of any market in the United States.
