With September behind us, we are able to review how rates have changed [year over year](https://www.radiusplus.com/keyword/year over year).

While this past month, for September 2023, the [average price per square foot](https://www.radiusplus.com/keyword/price per square foot) had dropped to $1.37 per square foot. This was a 16% decrease [year over year](https://www.radiusplus.com/keyword/year over year).
However, the [average price per square foot](https://www.radiusplus.com/keyword/price per square foot) in September 2019 was $1.24, making the [percentage change](https://www.radiusplus.com/keyword/percentage change) from 2019 to 2023 a 10.6% increase.
